TRU Texas Team Members recently received a meaning

TRU Texas Team Members recently received a meaningful reminder of the impact behind the homes they build.
Clayton Team Members at the TRU Texas home building facility recently shared an example of what it truly means to be part of a family's homeownership journey. General Manager Jeni Ware at the Clayton Homes of Kerrville Home Center reached out to the facility and shared the story behind a home they would soon be building for the family of Julian Ryan Rounsley.
Julian was one of more than 130 people who lost their lives during the devastating Central Texas flooding in July 2025. He left behind his fiancée, Christina, and their children, who recently received the keys to their new Clayton home.
As the home moved through production, Team Members signed the subfloor and left messages inside the home for the family. They wrote words of encouragement, prayers, and blessings above doorways and inside window casings and added "For Julian" to the I-beam of the home’s frame.
"I had the opportunity to walk through the home during production and add my own message alongside theirs," said Keith Baker, TRU Regional Brand Experience Manager. "Seeing what Team Members had written throughout the house was one of the most meaningful experiences I've had during my time with TRU and Clayton."
Jeni and the other Team Members at Clayton Homes of Kerrville also ensured the family's home would be set up and ready for them, including building a pantry cabinet and filling it with items to welcome them home.
This story reflects the care and sincerity our Team Members bring to their work every day, and reminds us that behind each home is a family, a future, and a new chapter.
